Meet Guy: A Tangle of Good Intentions

At the center of every chaotic little corner of this story, you’ll probably find Guy, usually juggling too much at once, coffee in hand, and just barely keeping it all together.

He’s prepared, in his own way. The kind of person who always has an extra flashlight and a box of granola bars on hand, yet somehow still manages to fly by the seat of his pants when it matters most. He makes plans, but they tend to unravel. And no one is safe from his determination to pull them into the cause. He tries hard, really hard, to rope people in… and almost never succeeds.

Guy is a contradiction: frazzled and organized, loud and guarded, messy and kind. And though he seems perpetually on the edge of losing control, you get the sense he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Guy isn’t perfect, but then, that’s the point. He’s a tangle of good intentions, and he keeps everything—and everyone—moving forward… whether they like it or not.

If this were a movie and I got to pick the cast: Bobby Moynihan would play Guy.
